At present, the annual discharge of textile wastewater in China is 2.5 billion tons (approximately 230 West Lake volumes), of which 2 billion tons are discharged from printing and dyeing wastewater. Due to the dependence of traditional printing and dyeing on water resources and environmental issues caused by wastewater discharge, the sustainable development of the industry is constrained. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a low water or anhydrous dyeing technology to solve the bottleneck problem of the development of the printing and dyeing industry from the source.

Research and Application Progress of Supercritical Water Oxidation Technology
Supercritical water oxidation technology uses water as the medium, utilizing the absence of gas-liquid interfacial mass transfer resistance under supercritical conditions (temperature>374 ℃, P>22.1 MPa) to increase the reaction rate and achieve complete oxidation. Compared with incineration and wet catalytic oxidation, supercritical water oxidation has advantages such as complete oxidation of pollutants, low secondary pollution, and relatively low equipment and operating costs. This technology was proposed by American scholar Modell in the mid-1980s and has become a research hotspot for domestic and foreign experts after photocatalysis and wet catalytic oxidation technologies.
